The most long – awaited, magical and fabulous holiday-New Year is approaching. Each of us, especially children, expect bright surprises and generous gifts from him. But after all, giving gifts is no less pleasant than receiving them, and therefore, the Central District Library named after Jan Chechot announces the start of the "Surprise for Santa Claus" campaign, which starts on November 15. This date was not chosen by chance. After all, on November 18 in the territory of the former Soviet Union, the birthday of the main character of the winter holidays is celebrated. Anyone can please Santa Claus with a hand-drawn postcard, a New Year's story or a personal poem, a DIY craft made with their own hands, regardless of age. Participants must submit their works to any of the libraries of the Baranovichi district by December 15, without forgetting to indicate their postal address and surname, first name, patronymic. And knowing the kindness and generosity of Santa Claus, you can be sure that the return surprise will be no less bright and memorable. So let's create a magical New Year's Eve atmosphere together!

Due to the high level of creative activity and interest of readers of libraries in the Baranovichi district, the contest of creative works “Vyartaem zabytyya Imeny”, dedicated to the 220th anniversary of Adam Mickiewicz, continues.
